Isabella & Grandma

Isabella is one month old today. Yesterday I was able to spend a few hours with Steve, Sheila, the girls and Steve's Mother. We had fun and I see where Steve gets his sense of humor.

Here are a few pictures for Grandma to enjoy before she has to leave to go home. Best wishes for a safe trip, you'll have to come back soon.

This was a fun session, and there will be more pictures to come of Isabella.

Waiting...

...on Daddy & Baby!

I had fun spending a few hours with Magda & Brian yesterday. They are due on April 2nd with their second baby (another girl, I'm told). Magda wanted to have maternity portraits taken before baby came, but Brian was in Iraq until a few days ago and everyone was a bit nervous that baby would not wait! Well baby waited and we got some wonderful images to tell her story.

They are a cute and fun couple, and so much in love! Here are some of my favorites from the session, the slideshow and proofing gallery will be up later this week, but I wanted you to see them before baby made her appearance!

Sarah was not feeling well but she was able to join us for a few pictures. She is a darling 3 year old, who will make a great big sister. I'm glad I had bubbles in my bag of 'tricks'!

Magda, here's wishing you all the best for your delivery and I can't wait to hear that she made her appearance!

Spring has sprung and love is in the air! We met up with Melissa and Shawn yesterday for their engagement session. It was a beautiful and bright spring day so we decided to hang out in the natural areas around Shawn's parents neighborhood. We had a lot of fun wandering amongst the flowering cherry trees and along the edge of the lake. A couple of geese decided to check out what we were doing, which was great since geese represent good luck in a marriage! We found this nice, quiet spot with a gazebo, covered walking bridge, and boardwalk through the woods. It was a great spot for pictures and much cooler in the 85 degree weather!

Melissa and Shawn will be getting married next month in Nashville and we wish them all the best! Thank you for letting us be a part of your celebration! Your slideshow will be ready in a couple of days, so to hold you over, here are some of our favorites from the day!

The end, and just the beginning!
